December 13, 2016
DC Aviation Al-Futtaim (DCAF) has announced the addition of a privaetely-owned Dassault Falcon 7X aircraft to its managed fleet. “With the addition of the new aircraft, DCAF has increased its fleet under management to five, including two Bombardier Challenger 604s, a Gulfstream G200, a Bombardier Global XRS and the Falcon 7X,” according to Terry Spruce’s news article published at the Corporate Jet Investor website on 9 December 2016.
DCAF has entered into an agreement with the jet’s private owner to operate it alongside the other four business jet aircraft. The company’s top management is attributing the growth ot the number of jets under its managed fleet to its unique value propositioning and brand positioning.
DCAF has particularly benefited from its expertise in providing managed services to both private and commercial aviation operators. Spruce quotes DCAF’s Managing Director, Holger Ostheimer, as saying: “Our facility and services continue to attract interest from owners and operators seeking our expertise to manage their assets both commercially as well as under private operation. We are extremely pleased to add the Falcon 7X to our managed fleet and look forward to providing its VIP owner with the highest levels of comfort and convenience, which are cornerstones of our business.”
The company now has a wider variety of advanced business jet aircraft at its disposal, considering that the Falcon 7X will operate alongside the equally high-performance Bombardiers and the Gulfstream G200.
DCAF came to existence following the signing of a joint venture agreement between Germany’s DC Aviation and UAE’s Al-Futtaim. As Spruce reports, its business interests in the aviation industry span different domains, including aircraft management, FBO, ground handling and business jet charter and maintenance. The company has been recording tremendous growth that has seen it pursue the expansion of its operational capacity through the development of a new hangar facility in Dubai.
