Jet Aviation to rebrand on 50th anniversary
December 20, 2016
Jet Aviation is planning to mark its 50th anniversary with a change of its corporate identity. According to Samantha Cartaino’s news article published at the AINonline website on 19 December 2016: “Jet Aviation is set to kick off its 50th anniversary year with a new corporate identity to be used beginning January 1, 2017.”
The company has already revealed its new corporate identity, which features a redesigned logo and corporate emblem, ahead of the official launch. As Cartaino reports: “The new branding retains the same colours but features a new monogram with the word JET that acknowledges the industry’s commonly used abbreviation for Jet Aviation.” This marks the first time that Jet Aviation will launch a new logo and emblem since 1967, when it was founded as a private aviation company by Carl Hirschmann.
Jet Aviation’s top management is appreciative of the tremendous milestones that the company has achieved in the last five decades but also excited about the impending changes to its corporate identity. Cartaino quotes Rob Smith, Jet Aviation Group President, as saying: “Milestones such as this provide an excellent opportunity to reflect on the past as we look to the future.” Cartaino quotes Smith further as adding: “We wanted to do something special in honour of the occasion, and I believe our new branding initiative really makes a statement. As we continue to expand our capabilities, it’s important for our customers to recognise the strength and consistency of our standards, culture and service philosophy, no matter where we are.”
Since its founding, Jet Aviation has evolved into a globally recognised brand with operations in Asia, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East and North America. The company provides a broad spectrum of private aviation services that include MRO, FBO, fuel services, charter, aircraft management and staffing services, according to Cartaino.
