Knox House appoints new Business Development Director
February 28, 2017
Knox House Trust Limited has announced the appointment of James Porter as the company’s new Business Development Director, according to Terry Spruce’s 28 February 2017 news article for Corporate Jet Investor. Porter’s elevation to this position has come hot on the heels of the recent appointment of Anthony Page as the company’s Managing Director.
Porter has been working at Knox House for about two years. As Spruce reports: “Porter joined the Douglas-based trust and corporate service provider in July 2015 with the remit to develop and expand its yachting and aviation services.” His experience in offshore corporate industry operations spans 20 years. As such, his elevation to Knox House’s executive board is expected to inject greater energies into the pursuit of the company’s growth and product diversification strategy.
He is already looking forward to his new challenge at the Douglas, Isle of Man-based company. Spruce quotes Porter as saying: “I am delighted to be appointed to the Board of Directors and to be in a position to help influence the significant steps we are taking to expand the company’s profile across the globe. Being part of the Knox Group of Companies enables us to draw on the collective expertise available, when and where necessary, allowing us to create seamless solutions, which offer a considerable proposition to clients and their advisors.”
Spruce also quotes Porter as adding: “Working with colleagues based both on island, in the UK and further afield will open up tremendous opportunities for the company and enable us to further extend our reach. This is an exciting time, not only for me to be very much part of the next development phase of the company but also for the existing Knox House Trust team.”
Knox House operates as part of the Knox Group of Companies. Its diverse portfolio includes the provision of financial and property management services to private aviation operators and a variety of other clients.
