TAG Aviation expands its fleet
Jul 6, 2016
On 30th June 2016, TAG Aviation announced that it was expanding its fleet with the addition of an ACJ319 and a Pilatus PC-12 NG. The two versatile aircraft will afford TAG Aviation greater flexibility. Especially when applying the bespoke route planning strategy on both long and short-haul trips. The ACJ, in particular, will increase the company’s passenger capacity. A news article published on the European Business Air News (EBAN) website hailed this development. They also observed:
“The spacious ACJ can accommodate up to 19 passengers and is available for charter. While the PC-12 NG can hold up to eight guests and will be managed on behalf of a private owner.”
TAG Aviation – Improving Luxury Travel
The company’s management revealed plans to dedicate the two aircraft towards the diversification of its tailored tours product. This target falls well within the company’s overall luxury travel strategy. A strategy which is centred on the provision of bespoke trips around the world. TAG’s VIP B757 has been instrumental in positioning the company as a market leader in chartered luxury travel. Especially when it comes to travel to global destinations. The company’s glowing brand recognition in the private jet aviation industry has subsequently triggered the growth of demand for large-cabin trips. Along with a demand for long-haul aircraft.
The delivery of the ACJ aircraft will consolidate TAG’s operations in the market segment for luxury travel. The news article quotes TAG President of Aircraft Management and Charter Services, Graham Williamson, as saying:
“While TAG will always be able to provide short notice solutions for any charter flight, we are trying to develop more bespoke trips and tours which require a high level of planning and attention to detail. This particular ACJ is exquisite, with a bedroom and en-suite shower for the principal along with two separate living areas for up to 19 passengers. While it is nominally based in London it will be available for operations in any region and is operated under the TAG UK AOC.”
The ACJ is already attracting tremendous demand. With TAG’s management indicating that it has already been booked for a number of music tours.
