Jetex completes Spanish expansion

Jetex has successfully completed its expansion into the Spanish private aviation market. The Dubai-based operator is set to provide ground-handling services from three locations in the major cities of Barcelona, Madrid and Malaga, according to Curl Epstein’s 16 May 2017 news article published at the AINonline website.

Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas, Barcelona-El-Prat and Malaga-Costa del Sol Airports are hosting Jetex’s ground-handling operations, according to Epstein. Located at the general aviation terminals of the three airports, these stations are scheduled to offer round-the-clock support in the domains of aircraft fuelling, parking services, ground handling and ramp services. Customers will also be able to access additional services such as immigration assistance and hangar space at these facilities.

Jetex’s top management is expressing confidence in the company’s growth potential in Spain’s aviation market. Epstein quotes Adel Mardini, Jetex’s President and CEO, as saying: “Spain is an important player in the European business aviation community, as indicated by a 6.4 per cent year-over-year growth in flight departures.” Epstein goes on to further quote Mardini as adding: “With the Spanish economy forecasted to grow strongly over the next few years and tourism on the rise, Jetex is positioning itself to provide the highest level of service at these key airports as private jet traffic increases in the country.”

Jetex Spain’s FBO Manager, Yolanda Avalos, also comments on the company’s expansion by elaborating: “The addition of the three Spanish ground-handling stations fortifies Jetex’s global presence by allowing us to serve clients in key regions of Spain as well as open gateways to important markets such as North Africa.” Avalos is further quoted by Epstein as explaining: “With a total of 25 locations in Europe alone, more private and business aviation clients can now experience the exceptional levels of service and quality that defines the Jetex brand.”
